Biography
Mr. Sodano’s strong commitment to education and his expertise in his discipline led to his appointment as a lecturer at Mizan-Tepi University, Ethiopia, where he played a significant role in nurturing and guiding undergraduate students. In 2019, he joined Wolkite University, Ethiopia, where he has continued to contribute to teaching, mentoring, and academic development as a dedicated lecturer. In pursuit of advanced academic and research excellence, Mr. Sodano is currently undertaking his doctoral studies as a Ph.D. scholar at the Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati, India (expected completion in 2026). This stage of his academic career reflects his commitment to advancing knowledge and contributing meaningfully to his field of study. Furthermore, effective from June 2026, he will assume the position of Assistant Professor at Wolkite University, Ethiopia.
Education
Determined to advance his academic career, Mr. Sodano pursued his undergraduate studies at Arbaminch University, where he obtained a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) in Mathematics Education. Driven by a strong commitment to learning, he continued his studies and earned a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Numerical Analysis from Haramaya University. In 2026, he further achieved a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics with a specialization in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) from IIT Guwahati, India.
