DEEPAK KUMAR

Biography

Dr. Deepak Kumar is currently an Institute Post-Doc Fellow (IPDF) in the Department of Mechanical Engineering at IIT Guwahati. He holds Ph.D. and a Master's degree in Mechanical (Spl. Manufacturing) Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Dhanbad, in 2023 and 2016, respectively. He completed his B. Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ranchi University, Ranchi (Jharkhand), India, in 2012. He had served as teaching faculty at the ARMIET (University of Mumbai) and MNNIT, Prayagraj, during session 2012-13 and 2016-17. He also served as a project assistant for DRDO projects on laser technology for a few months at IIT(ISM), Dhanbad, in 2016. He has published more than 11 articles, 02 books chapter and 12 international conferences and filed some patents. Owing to his ingenious & inquisitive contributions, he is influential in developing tremendously accurate micro/nano machining tools. Dr. Kumar's area of research interests is in the domain of advanced manufacturing/machin
