Biography
Dr. Debabrata Nandi is an Assistant Professor in the P.G. Department of Remote Sensing and GIS at Maharaja Sriram Chandra Bhanja Deo University, Baripada, Odisha. He holds a Ph.D. in Geology and is currently pursuing another Ph.D. in Remote Sensing and GIS. His research focuses on geospatial technology, environmental monitoring, land use–land cover dynamics, groundwater assessment, and climate-related hazards using GIS, remote sensing, and machine learning. Dr. Nandi has published numerous Scopus-indexed research papers, authored and edited several academic books, and supervised many postgraduate dissertations. He is also actively involved in funded research projects, peer review activities, and professional societies related to geospatial science.
