Biography
He is a CNPq Doctoral Fellow (PhD candidate) in Applied Geosciences at the University of Brasília (UnB). His research focuses on developing Land Use/Cover Mapping methodologies for the Brazilian Cerrado, integrating Remote Sensing, Artificial Intelligence and Deep Learning+Active Learning. He holds a Master's in Geographic Information Science and Systems from Universidade Nova de Lisboa, Portugal (UNL), and is certified in Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) by USGIF. He has experience in GIS, Remote Sensing, Cartography, and Spatial Data Analysis. Key experiences include working on European Land Cover projects (CORINE Land Cover, COS Cartography) for the DGT/EEA and developing civil public works monitoring methods at INPE. He is proficient in Python, SQL, Java, JavaScript, and R for spatial data. He is intermediate in English.
