Biography
Davis de Paula is a geographer and holds a PhD in Marine, Earth and Environmental Sciences, specializing in Coastal Management, from the University of Algarve, Portugal (2012). He completed his Master's degree in Geography from the Postgraduate Program in Geography at the State University of Ceará (UECE) in 2006, with a focus on Geoenvironmental Analysis and Land Use Planning in semi-arid and coastal regions. He holds a Bachelor's degree (2003) and a Licentiate degree (2004) in Geography from UECE and completed a Post-Doctorate in Geography from the Postgraduate Program in Geography at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC) in 2020. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at the State University of Ceará, where he has taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses, and served as coordinator (2020-2021) and Vice-Coordinator of the Postgraduate Program in Geography ProPGeo/UECE (2018-2020 and 2021-2024).
