Biography
Graduated in Degree in Chemistry from the State University of Ceará (2001) and Master's Degree in Inorganic Chemistry from the Federal University of Ceará (2004). Has experience in Chemistry, with an emphasis on Inorganic Chemistry, PhD in Sciences from the Institute of Chemistry of São Carlos - IQSC/USP (2009), working mainly on the following topics: reactions of ruthenium nitrosyls with cysteine, antileishmanial activity of ruthenium nitrosyls . He was a postdoctoral fellow from February 2011 to July 2013 at the University of California / Campus: Santa Barbara (USA) Supervisor: Professor Peter C. Ford. Post-doctorate in 2013 at the University of São Paulo/Campus: Ribeirão Preto; Supervisor: José Carlos Toledo Jr. Assistant Doctor at the Institute of Chemistry at UNESP in Araraquara, SP. He has experience in Inorganic Chemistry, mainly in the following subjects: synthesis of iron dinitrosyls and application against cancer; mechanism of formation of iron dinitrosyls.
