My current research interests include Machine Learning classical algorithms and Deep Learning, especially in computer vision tasks.
Education
I received the BS degree in Computer and Information Systems Engineering from the National Polytechnic University (EPN), Quito, Ecuador, in 1999, a MSc degree in Computer Science, from the Center for Research and Advanced Studies of the National Polytechnic Institute (CINVESTAV), Mexico D.F., Mexico, in 2007, and a PhD degree in Computer Science from the University of Alicante, Spain, in 2023. Since 2013, he joined as a professor at the Central University of Ecuador, Quito, Ecuador, being in 2016 appointed as a full-time professor in the areas of Software and Statistics.
