Biography

, Dr. N. Yogananth, the research focuses on Microbial Biotechnology, especially micropropagation studies, biodegradation studies, microbial enzyme production and bioactive potential analysis from microbes and plant sources. During my doctoral studies, I investigated on In vivo and in vitro culture studies on kaempferol production, pharmacological and antimicrobial activities of Dregea volubilis Benth, resulting in preliminary finding of antiaflatoxicosis potential of kaemferol. In addition to my research experience, I have hands-on experience in environmental impact monitoring. As a Junior Technical Assistant for the Sethu Samuthiram Ship Channel project, I was responsible for analyzing seawater quality parameters, currents, sedimentation patterns, and assessing potential environmental impacts due to dredging activities. This role involved meticulous monitoring and analysis to ensure environmental protection and sustainability. With a distinguished career spanning over 13 years, I hav
