Biography
During his Master's studies, he investigated the relationships between the imaginary of a pre-service Physics teacher and their didactic strategies during the supervised teaching practicum. During this period, he served as a Teaching Assistant for the ‘Teaching Practice and Supervised Practicum I’ module. During his undergraduate studies, he developed work on Physics teaching strategies utilising didactic experimentation with low-cost materials. Currently, he studies the recontextualisation of Pedagogic Discourse in accordance with Karl Maton’s Legitimation Code Theory, grounded in the theories of Basil Bernstein and Pierre Bourdieu. Areas and themes of interest: Physics Teaching; Discourse Analysis; Teachers’ Professional Knowledge; Didactic Laboratories; Didactic Experiments constructed with Low-Cost Materials; Initial Physics Teacher Education; Supervised Curricular Practicum; Curricula; Disciplinary Integration; Sociology of Education; Theory of Knowledge.
