Biography

Associate Professor I in the Department of Tourism and Hospitality at the Federal University of Maranhão (UFMA). He guided the development of strategic planning methodologies in public-private organizations such as the Legislative Assembly of the State of Maranhão (ALEMA), Grupo Cantanhede, Santê, Mr. Pay, CEAPE, Copiar, among others. He has also served as a guest lecturer in various graduate programs. Additionally, he has worked as an external instructor and business consultant with major clients including Grupo Mateus, Natura, Correios, Grupo Magnólia, Grupo Terrazoo/Potiguar, FIEMA, Vale, Alcoa/Alumar, TDM Brasil, KW do Brasil, and others. He is a reviewer for the Journal of Administrative Sciences (RCA), and an evaluator for ENANPAD (since 2021) and ANPTUR (since 2020).

Education

Ph.D. in Management from ISCTE Business School (Portugal), revalidated by the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG). Master’s in Business Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV). International MBA in Business Management from Fundação Getúlio Vargas (FGV) in partnership with Ohio University (USA). Bachelor's degree in Tourism from the University of Ribeirão Preto-SP (UNAERP).
