Biography
Full Professor of Dentistry at UFPE. She holds a PhD in Dentistry from the Federal University of Paraíba (2002). She is currently a member of the Graduate Dentistry Board and the Department of Clinical and Preventive Dentistry. She was Coordinator of the Graduate Dentistry Program at the Federal University of Pernambuco from 2014 to 2018. She has experience in Dentistry, with an emphasis on Stomatology, working primarily on the following topics: diagnosis of oral lesions, therapies with natural products (phytotherapy), oral manifestations resulting from chemotherapy and radiotherapy of malignant neoplasms, and oral manifestations resulting from immunosuppression (transplant recipients, diabetics). She also works in the areas of microbiology and prevention.
