Biography
Has experience in the field of Organic Chemistry working in Medicinal Chemistry. It develops research with search of new active molecules in plant species used in folk medicine, synthesis and semi-synthesis of active molecules from natural models, application of bench bioassays, exploitation of the natural resources of the South Atlantic Forest with a view to obtaining new substances with therapeutic properties. At present he has been dedicated to the planning, synthesis and biological evaluation of new chemotherapeutic agents for the Treatment of Chagas Disease, Cancer and Alzheimer Disease, by in vitro, in vivo and in silico assays.
