Biography
Danilo Ferreira de Souza holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Mato Grosso (2011). He is also a specialist in Safety Engineering from FAUC (2014) and Energy and Society from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (2015). De Souza has a Ph.D. with Summa Cum Laude in Energy Systems from the Institute of Energy and Environment (IEE) at the University of Sao Paulo (USP) in 2024. He is an Assistant Professor at the Federal University of Mato Grosso. He is a Brazilian Committee on Electricity (ABNT/CB-003) member. His expertise lies in the energy field, encompassing electrical installations, lightning protection, electrical safety, energy planning, and energy efficiency. Danilo authors a monthly column in the magazine “O Setor Elétrico” and serves as the Technical Coordinator for the National Circuit of the Electrical Sector (CINASE).
